Washington Square Associates, Inc. recycles desktop, laptops, printers, fax and all related equipment. Our goal is to completely reduce any computer hardware from going to landfill by either refurbishing or recycling all the parts. We do this by having partnerships with organizations such as GoodWill or collection agencies such as county landfills.
WSA encourages our clients to reduce the “vampire” energy practices. Leaving your desktops on all the time can add up to $125-$200 per desktop per year of energy waste. Printing everything is a waste of energy and paper. WSA encourages our clients to scan to email and avoid storage and trees being cut down. We offer green products that will support less energy consumption such as certified “Energy Star” and product make with recyclable packaging and processes. Products such as servers with 20% less energy consumption can save money and increase the life expectancy of the product. WSA sells copiers and printers that can reduce waste from 400 lbs of waste to 25 lbs over a three year period.
